Elegant Swedish antiques and more

I woke up this morning thinking,  what can I share with you folks today? I am constantly in search of new designs,  therefore, my post today is a few great design ideas, I couldn’t wait to share with you.

Do You like sumptuous Swedish antiques? There's nothing quite like these seen below. If you have the budget to purchase one of these bad boys, lucky you! For those of us do it yourselfers,  Jeffree Turney owner of Lone Ranger Antiques shows us how.  He  recently appeared as a special guest on the Martha Stewart show! Ohmygoosh, what a terrific demo on distressing furniture using milk paint!

Jeffree travels 5 months a year to Sweden, he searches for the most unique Swedish country antiques possible.  His selection is phenomenal!

I am fascinated by diptychs (two panels of art), and triptychs (three panels of art), if you’re adventurous, try some of these paneled art images for a special added touch to your decor.

Green Day

I heart black and white images.

Have you thought about rearranging your furniture . . .  and thought . . .  and thought  . . .

Remember any item can always go back to its original “home.” Embrace change, its fun!

  4. Thank you for such a great post. I visited Jeffree Turney's site, (beautiful heart stopping furniture) then on to, Martha. The tutorial was fantastic. I always wondered what product was used to wax painted furniture and get that aged patina. Ah-ha, now I know the secret. ;)
